DESCRIPTION:The Netherlands Chapter of the Netherland-America Foundation, one of our partner organizations, proudly presents a special broadcast, hosted by well-known TV personality Humberto Tan, celebrating Oceans of Friendship, live from a special studio in the Scheepvaartmuseum in Amsterdam.\nThe show will feature videos highlighting the NAF’s mission and exchange programs, interviews with NAF Fulbright Fellows, participants of the Dutch2USA Internship Program and the NAF & Elske Doets Young Lady Business Academy Internship Program, as well as high-profile individual and corporate supporters. The Adams Van Berckel Award, honoring a person or organization who has made a difference in Dutch-American relations will be presented during the show to The Ocean Cleanup.\nDue to the COVID-19-situation, the Netherland-America Friendship Gala has been cancelled this year. NAF Live TV provides a fun alternative for the NAF Community in the Netherlands to connect and raise funds to support the NAF’s key educational and cultural programs and contribute to the high-impact exchanges between the Netherlands and the United States. NAF Live TV will feature a silent auction and pledge drive, allowing you to bid online before and during the show on luxury travel, goods and one-of-a-kind experiences or donate to the NAF from the safety and comfort of your home.\nThe event can be viewed free of charge.
