FULBRIGHT ALUMNI NETWORK MENTORING<\/h4>\n

Giving back to Fulbright is not just limited to treasure; our Commission can also benefit greatly from your time and talent. ALUMNI DINNERS<\/h4>\n

Fulbright Alumni Dinners provide current US Fulbright grantees with insights into life in the Netherlands from someone who is a permanent resident here, while also giving Dutch Fulbright alumni the opportunity to reminisce about their own Fulbright experiences. These dinners have proved to be a great success, with attendees from both sides of the table finding immense value in the experience.<\/p>\n

FULBRIGHT SELECTION PANELS<\/h4>\n

Each year, three selection committees are formed to select the new Fulbright graduate student cohort. These selection committees are geared towards the following broadly defined fields: Humanities & Arts, Medical & Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences & Law. The Fulbright Commission will always ask at least one alum with knowledge of the field to take place in these committees. The selection process takes place in the period between the end of January and the middle of March each year. It consists of two selection rounds, a digital round and an interview round. For the digital round, the selection committee members read and assess all applications for their commission, and give their assessment to the Fulbright Commission. On the basis of these assessments, in the first half of March a selection interview is held with a number of the candidates.<\/p>\n

The Fulbright Commission the Netherlands graciously asks our alumni for support so that it may continue to change the lives of others with the impact of educational and cultural exchange, as it has once done for each of its alumni. The Commission appreciates every contribution you would like to make, be it a one-off donation or a recurring donation. If you are interested in making a recurring donation, we would like to highlight the fact that our Commission has ANBI status, which means that when you commit to giving the same amount for five consecutive years (or longer), you are eligible for significant tax benefits.
