Facilities on campus

One of the coolest aspects of studying in America is living on campus. You live in a dorm, where you usually share a room with one or more roommates. You eat in the dining hall and the facilities on campus are very well taken care of. As a student, you have all the amenities you need under one roof on campus.

Students with disabilities

American universities offer very good guidance for students with disabilities. Making higher education accessible to students with disabilities was legislated in the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990. Under this act, American universities must provide facilities on campus so that their education is freely accessible to everyone.

Most universities have a disability office, where you can go for guidance and extra support as needed. Whether you have a physical disability or learning disability, the disability office can provide support.
