Summer programs

Are you in high school or studying and interested in a short-term program in the US? Then a summer program may be for you. There are a variety of options, from language immersion programs to college prep programs and vocational programs.

What programs can you participate in?

American colleges and universities offer a variety of short programs during the summer months for scholars, students and professionals who want to improve their English language skills or subject knowledge.

English as a Second Language

Want to take an English language course and live on an American campus for a few weeks? Then you can apply for an ESL (English as a Second Language) program. You can take this program during the summer months or prior to your studies.

College prep program

Want to apply for a bachelor’s degree in the US? Some colleges offer preparatory programs where you learn more about the admissions process, the American education system, and life on an American campus. Oftentimes, you can also take some preparatory academic courses. An example of such programs is the College Prep Academies.

Subject-based programs

Want to immerse yourself in a new subject and obtain a certificate for it? American universities also offer short programs of several weeks or months in which you delve into a single subject.
